In defense of Winry (FMA)
Mary-Sue: These only exist in fanfictions, and I don’t think Hiromu is in love with Ed, she is just trying to make a good story.
Winy, crybaby,etc. She cries for legitimate reasons, like when Maes hughes died. If I were there, I would cry, too.
Abusive: Izumi is way more abusive, yet there is no Izumi bashing.
Gets in the way of Roy/Ed pairing: Riza, Izumi, and Oliver also get in the way of this pairing, yet no one gives a rat’s ass.
That concludes my defense.
